Dr. Burch is a native of Carlisle, Kentucky but has called Louisville home since 2006.  She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Hawaii and is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine (2001) Summa Cum Laude. She completed a Dermatology residency and Dermatopathology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota (2001-2006) and is board certified in both Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and Dermatopathology by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology.

Dr. Burch has been taking care of patients in Louisville and the surrounding area since 2006.  She and her partner, Dr. Vilma Fabre, own and operate Dermatopathology Consultants, an independent laboratory dedicated to the interpretation of skin specimens.   She is a member of the volunteer clinical faculty at the University of Louisville in the division of Dermatology (Department of Medicine), participates in resident education for both dermatology and dermatopathology and is a past recipient of the Volunteer Faculty Teacher of the Year award.

Dr. Burch’s interests include medical dermatology, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, cutaneous lymphoma, hair and nail disorders and vulvar dermatology.   She is married to TJ, has two daughters Abby and Morgan and one very spoiled German Shepherd named Nellie.
